it depends on the band. Some bands have other people work their myspace because they have a big label behind them and can afford to do such things. Other people put up music myspaces because they want certain songs from bands on their profiles or they just really like the band/singer/artist. Some of the music myspaces are in fact made by the bands themselves. A lot of the smaller bands work on their own pages because it is a way for them to get their music out.
