Does Myspace do any "housekeeping" for unused accounts?

It seems that there are SO many unused, fake, blank, accounts on myspace.

When you search for someone, a million accounts show up that are old, never used, etc.

Do people regualrly go out and delete these to keep the site organized or do they not really care? Probably 1/3 of MySpace accounts are probably unused.

No they don't, unless they're spam/hacker/rule breakers accounts myspace doesnt delete them.

They should, but they don't - it raises their number of accounts they have lol, makes them look good.
