It wasn't a nice one, The vice principle told her to just let it go, but these girls have been bullying her for three years, today only two of the three girls involved showed up for school. What can I do? I have called the police, because they were goin to put her pic up on the profile, which also said her location, it puts her at risk for any sick person with a computer? the vice principle said he would call me today and didn't. Just because these girls parents are influental people in the community shouldn't mean that they get away with it, what would you do, serious answers please

First of all, contact Myspace.com. Believe it or not, they don't want bad publicity. They can remove the account.

Second, consult a lawyer to find out what legal recourse you have in your community. Law vary from state to state, but this is borderline identity theft. Fraud at the very least. And if what they post isn't true, slander. Those are crimes that the police can act upon. Sometimes it takes getting a lawyer to get them off of their donut filled behinds.

At the very least, Myspace can provide the authorities with the ip address that created the account. That will help narrow down who the author is. I know you think it's some of her bullying school mates, but making false accusations can land you in some hot water as well.

Get the facts, then let a lawyer help you decide the best course of action.

I was bullied, for awhile. Turned me into a monster. Still am one deep down inside, just try to mask it with silly comedy, but I still feel the hatred. Hatred for all who bullied me. If the vice principal is not responding to you, you should either go to your daughter's school and speak with him directly OR contact an administrator who is higher up than the vice principal (i.e. principal, school superintendent, etc.). If it does go far enough that your daughter's picture is placed on myspace.com, you should contact the police again. This needs to be addressed by higher officials since your daughter's safety is in jeopardy - you need to make this point clear to whom ever you address about this problem. Contact a lawyer and then contact my space and have them to remove the profile of your daughter and let them know who has posted it. That is really sad that nobody is on your side helping you out just because the other girls' parents are influential in the community. I may bring up the situation to the school board, and bring along proof to show how incompetent this vice principal is. If you haven't already done it, I would suggest personally speaking to these girls. If the school nor their parents are telling them to stop, then maybe you need to say it right to their faces, and include a threat of harassment charge. If I were that age, and a parent approached me demanding that I stop picking on a classmate, I would feel really stupid and stop doing it. It just seems like they continue to get away with being mean, and the fact that they fraudulently created a myspace page certainly would have me worried. As ridiculous as this may sound, maybe your daughter just needs to be moved to another school district. These are the years of her life that shape her forever, and if she has to face these nasty girls day after day, year after year, she may become so unhappy and depressed and that's not a good place to be when you're a teenager.

It can be a sick and cruel world today. What kind of influential parents are they? The worst kind. Not teaching their girls love and respect for another. Principals it seems often do not want to delve into these matters. I would suggest asking the police what you can do. I would worry about the location information being on there especially if there is a picture. Somebody should be able to trace the computer (user) being used to put this info on there. If not the police then a private investigator. If they have been bullying for 3 years, I would want to put a stop to it. Talk with your daughter. Perhaps she would like to speak to a therapist as this has been going on for a while. Maybe even change schools to get away from the trio of young women who are not using their brains or their hearts. They are very much the unhappy ones, stooping to this level of nastiness upon another.

Back when I was pregnant, the father of my child decided to cheat on me (how sweet huh?). Well I broke up with him, so him and this girl stayed together. But after a few months and closer to the birth he was trying to get back with me, and it pissed her off so she made this fake web profile for like peeps.com or some crap I never heard of like bashing herself with all these bad pics, and then called the police on ME!!!

I almost got arrested, but my baby's father stopped them and said the girl was unstable.

So they questioned her after the traced the IP address to HER high school and not mine. She had made the site herself to get me put into jail, and make my ex mad.

Point is, I got accused of the same thing, and they were trying to arrest a 8 month along pregnant teen (even though I didn't). If you have proof these girls did it then stay on her side, and press charges. Sue for defamation of charactor or slander.
