How can you tell if a person actually has a real myspace page or if it's a fake?

You know how theres a section under the contact box with the URL? Check to see if they have an actual URL

Spammers don't usually set that up.

Also what i like to do is send a message to those who add me

if I get a responce from them its legit.

If they have only one picture and practically nothing on their page except info most likely they are spam....

Check their comments if they have none ..They aren't real.

If you see comments from actual friends they know thats a clue...

I'm not sure if this would work, but perhaps checking the account's e-mail address.

You may be able to search for someone's profile by e-mail address and if you know someone's e-mail address, then you may be able to determine if the account's legitimate.
