My ex made a fake myspace page about me, saying that I am cute and a wonderful guy..how can i take i

Sometime a person with a grudge will post a fake myspace page about a person. You can do this to have it recitfed.

things you will need.

A MySpace account

A digital camera

Your Friend ID number

The web address of the imposter's profile

Step 1:

Locate your "Friend ID number." To locate this number, go to MySpace and log in with your user name and password. Click on the "Profile" link underneath your picture. The Friend ID number follows "friendID=" in the web address when you are viewing your profile.

Step 2:

Take a picture of yourself with a digital camera holding a handwritten sign with the word "MySpace.com."

Step 3:

Click on the link at the very bottom of the MySpace page that says "Contact MySpace." A page will come up entitled "Contact Request."

Step 4:

Choose "Reporting Abuse" in the subject line from the dropdown menu and on the sub-topic line choose "Imposter Profile" and click "Submit."

Step 5:

Send what MySpace calls a "Salute" to the link provided on this page. This will include the picture you took of yourself, which MySpace needs to verify your identity, and the Friend ID number. You'll also need to include the web address of the imposter's profile you would like removed.

Step 6:

Click the link "How do we remove an imposter profile for a teacher/faculty member?" on this page if this applies to your situation. Click "this form" on the page that comes up to send an email to MySpace customer service.
